Groenendael and Tervueren
with beauty and brains.
This site is born out of a lifetime's dedication to the Belgian Shepherd.
We proudly own, show and occasionally breed both Groenendael and Tervueren.
Belgian Shepherds are my hobby and my passion in life.
This breed is very special and only very special people will be allowed to own one
Niavana is not a kennel, nor a business, but a home where Belgian Shepherds live as members of the family.
We have almost50 years of experience in this breed.
Our knowledge of the breed is second to none, we were instrumental in establishing the Belgian Shepherd on a sound footing in the UK with our early imports.
Niavana has over the years bred a number of both Groenendael and Tervueren Champions.
I only breed Belgian Shepherds, no other breed compares. I breed responsibly and will only breed a litter of puppies occasionally never for commercial gain, always with the betterment of the breed in mind and usually only when I would like to keep a puppy for the future. Therefore, it is important to register your interest as we operate a puppy waiting list, and potential new owners will be vetted as to their suitability. Our puppies will only go to homes where they live in the home and where they will be treated as part of a loving, caring family, and where the care lavished on them as babies will be continued throughout their lives. No expenses is spared on rearing my babies, they are born and raised in the home from lines I have good knowledge of, and our dogs are X-rayed. I ensure my litters have ample human contact, stimulation and activity before they go off to their new homes. They go off with pedigree, litter pack, and full information leaflet and I am here for follow-up questions and information for the new owners and their puppies throughout their life.
We will never allow a puppy to go to a home where it will be kept outside in a kennel, or as a guard, don't ask, we will just not allow it, this breed only thrives where it can be part of a family environment.
Niavana Belgian Shepherds are suitable for a variety of disciplines, including showing, agility, obedience, canincross, flyball, scent work, tracking, but mostly they just love to be loved and to do things with their family.
If you require any further information about Belgian Shepherds or are interested in a puppy please e-mail providing details about yourself, your family and they type of home you can offer a Belgian Shepherd.

Please be prepared to be vetted as our puppies will only be allowed to go to strictly approved homes.
